Yes, certainly. I can update the app to automatically set the language based on the system language, but that will take some time as I am quite busy right now. For the time being, you can manually switch to English, and I will follow up on your request later.Once I have implemented the feature and met your requirements, I will notify you by leaving a message here. |
`utils.getSystemLocale()` returned `zh_CN` whenever the platform locale matched none of the supported languages, so the app started in Chinese under the POSIX `C` locale — and under any unset or unsupported system language. AppImageHub runs the AppImage under the `C` locale and rejects a screenshot whose text is not English, which is why the catalog pull request failed: ERROR: The screenshot shows text mostly not in English but in Chinese script AppImage/appimage.github.io#5901 The fallback is now English. Chinese still resolves by region/script (zh_CN / zh_TC), and ja / ko / ru / fa are unchanged. Only the first-run default changes: an already persisted `appSetting.locale` still wins. Adds 5 tests covering the `C` locale, an unsupported language, English, the Chinese variants and every other supported language. No release tag or push in this commit.

My apologies for the long wait. In version v1.1.0_rc11, I have fulfilled the previous request regarding language support; however, please note that this is a pre-release (beta) version, and the official v1.1.0 release will take a bit more time. |
