abstract: >-
Simulation and benchmark code for CIDER, a method that tests whether a
transcription-factor to target-gene relationship is modulated by a
quantitative trait. Includes the data generators for six interaction forms
across simulated and real (GTEx whole-blood) transcription-factor expression,
the four differential-correlation benchmark methods it is compared against
(DGCA, DiffCorr, discordant, DINGO), the evaluation and figure code, and
equivalence tests proving the consolidated scripts reproduce the original
per-cell scripts byte-for-byte.
