Allow users to edit environment variable in place, not just change the variable to another one #8423

This would be a great feature, we don't always want to update the variables through the after response script in every request, sometimes we need to update manually, and having to open the environment, choose the correct one, locate the variable, change it, and then go back to the request and test is too time-consuming, and slows down our testing and development flow. |

This feature should be implemented! It's too hard to switch from postman where i can create environment variables on the fly everywhere (url, params, headers, etc) |

I would like to link to bruno which recently added in-place variable edition :
My goal here is not to direct users to Bruno, even though I actually made the switch for this and other reasons, but this should serve as an inspiration on how maintainers can implement the feature in Insomnia. |

Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
Feature
Would be great to be able to edit env variables directly when clicking on the variable name in the UI.
For instance here we would be able to edit the text and save it, making the adjustment to the currently selected environment.
Making a button that opens up the currently available env variable editor would also be great.
Why ?
Just kidding, but hey, here is how it is implemented in Postman :
