The one thing missing from Pinta (IMO!)

Pinta is the most user-friendly and intuitive image editing program I've ever used. It's also extremely powerful if you understand and utilize all of its primitives.

I think there's just one thing missing: alignment functionality. I find it impossible to make any meaningful projects without these alignment features (e.g. snapping to grid, auto-alignment etc...). Are there any plans in the future to add functionality in relation to alignment / any plugins that exist? I would seriously consider Pinta over Photoshop if they had this...

There is #1309 for adding snapping, for alignment there is the "Align Object" effect which can do some common operations.
