Describe the problem
Currently, the autocomplete menu displays users with their nicknames but the actual search only considers their display names, which seems like unintended behaviour.
Describe the solution you'd like
I think that if a user has a nickname set, that nickname should be considered in lieu of (or in addition to) their display name in autocomplete searches, as that would seem more intuitive.
