[Tests] Servy.Host.IntegrationTests - Administrator_RefreshesTheDacl_TheNewServiceAccountIsGranted fails

[Naming] Service.cs (Servy.Host) - the connection handler's error log still says 'Exception in HandleClientAsync.', a method that no longer exists

[Correctness] Service.cs (Servy.Host) - StopListening's listener Task.WaitAll throws for an instance cancelled before the thread pool started it, so OnStop skips the wait for in-flight requests and logs a misleading warning

[Tests] ServyHostPipeSecurity.cs - no test passes a null account list or Authenticated Users, so the null guard and the broad-group refusal for S-1-5-11 can be removed with the suite green

[Wiki] Security.md - the Decryption Error troubleshooting still says to re-enter every encrypted field, but since #7334 Servy refuses to save a service whose fields do not decrypt, and the code's own recovery steps (keep and restore aes_key.dat first) are missing

[Security] PipePeer.cs - IsRemoteClient treats every GetNamedPipeClientComputerName failure as 'local', not only ERROR_PIPE_LOCAL, and passes the buffer size in characters where the API takes bytes; since #7330 removed the NETWORK deny entry this is the host pipe's only local-only guard

[Tests] ImportServiceCommand.cs - the #7334 ServiceDecryptionFailedException arm (211-213) has no test, so deleting it sends the refusal through the generic command-failed template with the suite green

[Bug] DecryptionFailureMarker.cs - HasDecryptionFailure reads the marker from the description text, so a row whose marker a v9.5 save persisted (#5186) now decrypts cleanly but can never be installed, updated or imported again, with an 'aes_key.dat' error that is not true

[Tests] Service.cs (Servy.Host) - ScheduleUnresolvedAccountRetry's three failure arms have no test, so a stop during the retry delay can leave the account locked out after a restart, and a failed retry can go unlogged, with the suite green

[Robustness] ProcessHelper.cs (Service) - ExpandAndAudit audits the value after '%%' escapes are decoded, so a correctly escaped '50%%off%%' or '%%Y%%' is reported as an unexpanded environment variable on every launch

[Bug] LogTailer.cs - GetHistoryAsync with maxLines 0 returns a position past an unterminated last line, so the live tail loses the start of that line (residual of #7291)

[Tests] SQLiteDbInitializerIntegrationTests.cs / ServiceRepositoryIntegrationTests.cs - the public Initialize overload these tests call imports and then deletes the machine's real %ProgramData%\Servy\recovery folder

on Oct 3, 2026

[Tests] ServyHostInstaller.cs - no test reaches GetRunningServyServices' per-service 'removed while enumerating' catch, QueryCommandLine's second-pass failure or ReadRegistration's catch-all, so each can be deleted with the suite green

aelassas/servy#7338 · opened

on Oct 3, 2026

[Tests] ServiceLogMigrator.cs - no test reaches the delete-failure emptying that #7313 kept on the staged file, so removing it leaves the suite green

on Oct 3, 2026

[Bug] ServiceLogMigrator.cs - a read-only former log is still re-appended at every start after the rename-first fix of #7313, because the read-only attribute refuses the delete and the emptying but not the rename

aelassas/servy#7336 · opened

on Oct 3, 2026

[Bug] LogTailer.cs - a line the writer completes between two ReadLineAsync calls of one pass is still published as two lines: #7323 fixed the end-of-pass probe, but StreamReader drops the terminator information the split needs (residual of #3302)

on Oct 3, 2026

[Tests] Service.cs (Servy.Host) - the #7299 accept-failure test never lets the back-off finish, so a listener that gives up after one failed pipe creation, or one that retries without the delay, keeps the suite green

[Bug] ServiceRepository.cs - every Manager refresh writes back a record that failed to decrypt: a legacy-blocked one gains a v2 layer on each later sensitive field per tick, a corrupt one has Parameters and EnvironmentVariables overwritten with NULL

[Tests] SecurityHelperTests.cs - both current-user ACE tests skip on every elevated runner, so ApplySecurityRules' grant and its !isAdmin guard can each be deleted with CI green, though the IsAdministratorCore seam exists

on Oct 3, 2026

[Tests] Service.cs (Servy.Host) - FlushAndShutdownLogger's LoggerFlushTimeoutMs arm has no test (the #7152 twin), so an unbounded wait on a hung logger Dispose would stall OnStop with the suite green

aelassas/servy#7325 · opened

on Oct 3, 2026

[Tests] ServiceBootstrapSeamTests.cs (Servy.Service) - the wrapper seam lost its data layer, but the class summary, a test named WiresTheDataStack and five dead fake members (SqliteVersionIsSafe, LoadCoreSettings, ...) still describe it

aelassas/servy#7322 · opened

on Oct 3, 2026

[Tests] ServiceHelperTests.cs (Service) - the #7310 restarter-folder test uses 'My Service', which needs no encoding, so RestartService can drop ServiceLogPaths for a raw Path.Combine and send the restarter to a folder its account cannot write, with the suite green

aelassas/servy#7321 · opened

on Oct 3, 2026

[Tests] ServyHostInstaller.cs - QueryDependencies' second-pass failure (323-326) has no test, so the guard that stops an unread dependency list from being written back can be deleted with the suite green

aelassas/servy#7320 · opened

on Oct 3, 2026

[Tests] ServiceManagerHostTests.cs - InstallService_WithoutPipeService_InstallsWithoutError reads no log, so deleting RefreshPipeAccessAsync's null-pipe guard (ServiceManager.cs:858) stays green: the NullReferenceException is swallowed into an error line
