CGO_ENABLED not working with raygui

I've learned about CGO_ENABLED and build tags recently, so please correct me if I say something wrong.

My goal is to build my project for other OSs and for it to be as light as possible, both on disk and resources. Before all this, I profiled my program and it seems I've got two problems:

1. It holds one CPU core on 100% all the time. I guess it's sending data to the GPU, but my program is not that big.
2. Around 78% of the time is spent on runtime.cgocall.

I was reading the README of this project and found out about CGO_ENABLED=0. When I ran the build command to try it (CGO_ENABLED=0 go build -tags noaudio,x11 .), this error showed up:

I'd be down to contribute the implementation myself if needed, but I'd like some feedback on the issue first to know why this is happening or if I didn't configure something properly.
