From my point of view, an A2A extension is interesting if it preserves Griptape''s own abstractions around tasks, state, and retries instead of only tunneling messages over another protocol. The transport is the easy part. The hard part is making agent identity, session continuity, and failure semantics line up cleanly.

Keeping it as an extension first feels like the right way to learn whether the protocol boundary fits the framework naturally.
