Fit tabs to available width

Currently, the tab bar width isn't wide enough. Isn't this feature supposed to distribute the total width evenly across tabs? Especially after hiding the close button ('x'), the space where 'x' used to be also disappeared.

Magnet in active window

This feature seems ineffective. Does it require "Explorer Magnet" to be enabled first?
Also, even if left unchecked, it still seems to work as long as "Explorer Magnet" is enabled.

Animation

When testing, I set the interval to 0.125, but realized I had to edit each entry manually one by one. I then tried modifying animation.ini directly, but the visual item failed to update.
Additionally, when I opened the animation editor window, the animation kept playing with no option to stop it.

Fit tabs to available width: I'm not sure what the issue is here. If you don't enable this option, as soon as you open a new tab that does not fit within the width of the window, you will need to scroll the tabs horizontally. If you enable this option, when you open a new tab that does not fit within the width of the window, all other tabs will be slightly shrunk to allow the new tab to be shown. If you keep opening new tabs, all of them will be reduced to their absolute minimum. This is the behavior we see in Chrome, for example. If you also have the "x" hidden on every tab, this simply means you will have more space to show the text inside the tab, nothing more, nothing less. If you expect a different behavior here, please elaborate and I will gladly evaluate it.

Magnet in active window: I agree this option is not very clear. Yes, it depends on having the magnet icon activated (if not, it won't have any effect at all). So, if you activate the magnet icon in a window, that window will capture and close any new File Explorer windows. If you have another TabExplorer window open and you switch to it, the first window will still be the one capturing new File Explorer windows when opened. However, if you activate the "magnet in active window" option, whichever TabExplorer window is currently active will be the one to capture new File Explorer windows. I could disable this option unless the magnet icon is checked to make it clearer, or move it elsewhere.

Animations: Yes, right now in the animation-frames grid, you have to set the interval and the random interval one by one. I could add a context menu to apply one setting to a selection, for example, or a copy-paste shortcut to do it.If you modify the INI, make sure to use the exact same decimal separator. Perhaps that was the problem, but I will check it and enforce proper reading for the next version. Also, I will add a button to stop playing the animation, as right now it always plays (please keep in mind that animations, groups, and the scheduler are early experimental features).

Please let me know your thoughts on this and I will take them into consideration for the next version of TabExplorer. Thanks!

Regarding Fit tabs to available width, here is some clarification on my end along with a few attached screenshots:

• I originally expected this feature to adjust all tabs to a uniform/similar width (or evenly divide the total available width of the TabExplorer window).
  (It seems tab widths become more evenly distributed only when many tabs are open.)

• However, after enabling "Hide tab close 'x'", the tab widths actually became even smaller/narrower instead of expanding.
  (There seems to be a conflict among "Hide tab close 'x'", "Fit tabs to available width", and "Shorten folder names at...". If the UI displays abnormally, toggling these options off and on fixes it temporarily.)

• [Bug 1]: Sometimes after adding a new tab, scrolling all the way to the right side of the tab bar fails to reveal the + (new tab) button.
  Note on reproduction: I cannot consistently reproduce this every time, but either closing a single tab or opening a folder with a long name will make the + button reappear.

• [Bug 2]: Tab names on the tab bar get truncated/shortened unexpectedly—even when there is still plenty of empty space on the right side of the tab bar. The "Shorten folder names at..." setting also fails to work properly at times. Could this be conflicting with "Fit tabs to available width"?

Right now tabs won't be wider than needed, and hiding the "x" will simply make them smaller. The naming for the option, I see it now, it's confusing and I will give a try at your idea this september to see how it works and looks. Meanwhile, the option is only intended to make room to new tabs when the width is not enough to fit them all, to avoid scrolling.

For the other bugs, I will check and try to reproduce them and look for a fix for the next version.
