cannot boot into winpe

for the record, there is bootmgr.exe in the boot.wim file, I have verified this multiple times, and I even tried copying bootmgr.exe in Boot folder, but for some reason, it does not want to boot into winpe...

but now, i am facing a totally different problem after explicitly providing the file necessary for this

It looks as though this is a corrupt .wim file. Start by getting everything working with an off-the-shelf .wim file, such as the boot.wim file from the Windows installation ISO.

Once you have that working, then you can start trying with whatever custom .wim file you are trying to use.

You can use any boot.wim from win10 or win11 era.

Are you running this in a VM?
Verify that it actually loads the boot.wim that you expect it to, and let me repat that is the original boot.wim from a windows 10 or 11 install iso.

i'm using a vm, trying to do this through netbootxyz, and i copied boot.wim from a windows 10 ltsc iso
