How to build a live rig using HX Effects for MIDI Switching

Hello,
I am Daniel from Germany.
My goal is to build a live rig, to use for rehearsel and live. HX Effects for now is my MIDI Footswitch. Later i will have standalone midi switch.
I tried with KI to build this with several programs. Element was the way to go. Now in 1.2.0 MIDI is changed and it will work fine I read. So I purchases Element for 60 Dollars. Now 4 hours later I don´t get it working. Don´t understand the way it works and i am confused and sad.
My Goal.

Guitar Sound is wonderful and i have some really cool Amps. USB Audio Interface runs into a Poweramp this into my cab. Lovely. But how can I switch with MIDI. How to configure?

I have:

Audio Interface -> HX Native (Pre Amp Pedals, Tuner...) -> Gateway (several Amp Simulations) -> HX Native (FX Loop for Delay, Chorus, Volume Boost,...) -> Audio Out -> PowerAmp

So, i want to have Preset that activates one amp simulation, sets my two instances of hx native as wished. For example MIDI 1 sent:
HX Native Pre: Tubescreamer on, Noisegate on, Rest of Effects off
Gateway: Marshall JCM 800 Simulation
HX Native FX Loop: Delay on, chorus off, flanger off....

So this is what I need. But how to build with Element?

It works the same as it did prior to 1.2.

1. Press the MAP button
2. Move a plugin parameter, or mute, or bypass
3. Move the midi dial or button press.

It could be that your MIDI controller is sending something other than CC or Note events. And if that's the case it shouldn't be a big deal to add new message types in mapping.
