Layer-1 metadata (former cat core)

at the moment we have two fields in documentation page:

• catalysis research field
• reaction type

are these final? how are these in the manuscript formulated?

in the manuscript we have given just catalyst research field and reaction type as the M fields for the top layer metadata. The fileds active site and identifier are not mentioned

But in the documentation page under https://nfdi4cat.github.io/CoreMeta4Cat/dev/#inner-coremeta4cat other two fileds are also provided however recommended.

thanks for catching this. I suggest we adhere to the manuscript's version. If you also agree, i will update documentation page accordingly (leaving only catalysis research field & reaction type)

In the manuscript, we specifically mentioned mandatory fields and no mentioning of R or O about the top level metadata fields, which is fine. For the other two fields such as active site and identifier , if we delete it and if it will not create a problem with the schema, then we can do that. However, I think it is better these should stay there (as identifier will be a key as aspect which can also be connect with PID4Cat may be at one point). Then we can add the active site and identifier in the manuscript in a single line as recommended fields. What do you think?

If the manuscript does not contradict (with mention of R and O) then i agree, let's leave them.
