Hello, fellow PGEDC members!

I am organizing the Postgres Extension Developers Coalition into a non-profit organization to facilitate running events and (hopefully) raising and dedicating some funding to our shared needs.

If you are interested and would like to participate, please raise your hand!

It is an option, though I am uncertain whether it would work with the timeline for the upcoming event. Longer term, I think having a small non-profit for PGEDC may be beneficial for some of its projects.

Glad to announce that Postgres Extension Developers Coalition has been incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation in Canada!

Things I am looking forward to this year:

• Technicalities: Establishing bylaws and electing directors and officers
• Excitement: Running Postgres Extensions Day
• Opportunities: What's our next community-wise project?
