STM32G431 BUG

I tested the STM32G431 chip with version 2.10.1 and found that there was a problem with the clock configuration.

Delay is set to 2MS but it is actually 6MS.

This is strange because it uses HSI and value of HSI is correct 16MHz.
Is it the correct mcu? A legacy one?
Have you tried with an other one?

If I use the built-in 16 MHz crystal oscillator, the fault disappears. But if I use an external 8 MHz crystal oscillator, the fault occurs.

I couldn't figure out if there was anything wrong with my clock settings, but the system just wasn't functioning properly.

Next time please give all information instead of just telling there a problem with clock configuration else we assume it is the default configuration.
There's no bug. Default HSE_VALUE is 24MHz so you have to redefine it to 8MHz.

This code works correctly.
Now, 100000000 CPU cycles is equal to 1000000 microseconds.
And this does not depend on the CPU frequency.
