Hi,
ich habe das Plugin installiert inkl ISC-KEA (Debian 13).

Was muss man mindestens konfigurierer damit eine Adressvergabe funktioniert?

Hi Andreas,

analog zu NetBox DNS und DNS-Servern hat das DHCP-Plugin keine eigene Schnittstelle zu Kea (oder anderen DHCP-Servern). Es stellt lediglich die Daten für die Provisionierung bereit.

Eine mögliche Lösung zur Integration ist es, das Kea-Konfigurationsfile über Ansible zu generieren. Eine fertige Lösung dazu ist noch nicht vorhanden, aber einiges ist in Arbeit. Eine andere Variante ist die Nutzung des Kea-API mit geeigneten Custom Scripts in NetBox.

Hi Andreas,

just like with NetBox DNS and DNS servers, the DHCP plugin does not have its own interface to Kea (or other DHCP servers). It just provides the data for provisioning.

One possible integration solution is to generate the Kea configuration file via Ansible. A ready-made solution for this is not yet available, but work is underway. Another option is to use the Kea API with suitable custom scripts in NetBox.
