Pull request overview
Resets template import controls after AJAX or parsing failures, allowing retries without reloading.
Changes:
- Returns the import request promise to propagate failures.
- Centralizes UI recovery for settings and wizard imports.

Reset the import UI after a failed import, so the user can retry without reloading the page.
