Config File Not Generating

I am using laravel 12 and after every clean installation i ran

composer require "darkaonline/l5-swagger"

Then

php artisan vendor:publish --provider "L5Swagger\L5SwaggerServiceProvider"

But the config file is not being generated like it used to . I'm not sure if i skipped a step or something is broken

I had the same issue on Laravel 13. For some reason, version 2.1 was installed, although the current version is 11. Try to install the correct version manually

I had a similar problem using Laravel v13. I was able to overcome it by clearing the config cache after it failed. My error was slightly different so this solution may not work for this exact problem.

$ php artisan vendor:publish --provider "L5Swagger\L5SwaggerServiceProvider"

I ran php artisan config:clear, then the publish command again, and it worked.
