✏️ About Me
![]() |
Hey there! I'm a Python developer with 8+ years of turning coffee into code and solving problems that make services faster, more reliable, and actually fun to work with. Currently at T-Bank (February 2024 - Present, 2 years 6 months) as Lead Backend Developer & Team Lead (since October 2024). Product & business impact: Shipped end-to-end fraud automation (chat + voice) from concept to 100% traffic rollout, saving over 4.1M RUB/month. Designed bot-retention mechanics (skipped_repeat, "Stay on bot" feature) that pushed automation up 68% on the target segment and saved over 6.5M RUB/month. Acted as Tech Lead and consultant for 5+ product teams (Foreigners, High-income, AML, SME), with shipped features exceeding 30M RUB in combined economic impact. Ran 10+ A/B tests, killing low-ROI hypotheses early to save the team's dev capacity. Engineering culture & DevEx: Led the migration of our monorepo from Bazel to Pants (2 RFCs, new architecture, 4+ services migrated), cutting dependency build time from 300s to 20s - a 15x speedup. Moved all product-feature monitoring onto the team's standard (finedog) and rebuilt the data-labeling SQL pipelines, making them 10x faster with zero labeling failures. Set up team rituals (1:1s, retros, groomings), split dev/product syncs, and automated process-compliance checks in Jira. Team leadership: Built individual development plans for 3+ engineers, ran performance calibration, and was a buddy for 2+ new hires. Merged two teams (Sales and Segments) without disruption, then handed the team and process off cleanly to a peer lead. Built a new product line from scratch - founded the "Agents in SME" team, acting as Tech Lead and architect for its end-to-end process, business logic, ML stack, and tooling. Stack: FastAPI, Flask, Apache Kafka, PostgreSQL, Docker, Redis, GitLab, Grafana, Pants, agentic systems, LLMs. Before that, spent nearly 2 years at QIWI (May 2022 - February 2024) as Senior Product Developer, where I got my hands dirty with high-security applications handling sensitive personal data. Wore multiple hats - mentor, analyst, team lead, tester, DevOps engineer, and yes, Python developer. Built internal services that process millions of transactions while keeping everything locked down tight. Stack: Python, PostgreSQL, Samba, Oracle SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Redis, FastAPI. At EPAM (May 2019 - May 2022, 3+ years), I deployed microservices on GCP, owned production deployments across multiple organizations, and mentored colleagues (still doing that on GetMentor!). Built a PEG parser (pyparser) from scratch for internal needs, designed service architectures, and wrote docs that people actually read. Tech stack: Python, Django, Docker, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, GCP, Sanic, AIOHTTP, Pandas. Started my backend journey at New Security Technologies (December 2017 - May 2019), creating real-time traffic audit applications for enterprises and government. Learned to love Debian, virtual machines, uwsgi, Django, and got surprisingly good at frontend with jQuery. Also dove deep into data analytics with matplotlib, pandas, and numpy. When I'm not coding at work, I'm contributing to open-source projects - Elastic APM, aiohttp-apispec, FastAPI, Starlette, python-dotenv, and more. I genuinely believe that the real magic of open-source isn't just the code - it's the amazing community of people who build it together. |
