Dear Developer，No matter how I modify Weston. ini or mipi dts to achieve the goal of rotating the screen, the pixelpilot_rk output video direction is always vertical and cannot be landscape. I tried using the method modeset_get_oObjectively to rotate the 90 degree mirror, but DRM seems to report an error. Is this normal?

To what i know the RK3566 does not support hardware rotating the image.
You can check this with drm_info. Here is the RR3566 example:

I think we could to this in software but i think this is not worth the effort as this will introduce latency.

i am running Pixelpilot on an rk3399 and i am having some very bad performance compared to my much slower HiSilicon Hi3536dv100 which has far less computing power.

Would it be helpful to you guys, if i provide you with a complete SDK for the Hi3536 platform, including a lot of programming examples especially for h264 and h265 to use with this specific MCU? This could make it possible for you, to adopt the codebase of PixelPilot to one of the currently most used platforms running OpenIPC?

Supported fast rotation using Rockchip RGA

This is the way to do it.
Though RGA will add 2,5 to 10 ms of latency to the pipeline, depending on resolution.
I worked on the same in the last weeks.

I also need to rotate the image. That's why I started that project. I use a PowkiddyX55 handheld console for the ground station.

Hello, regarding OSD related Video FPS and resolution, Video link throughput, when rotated 90 or 270 degrees, it appears as diagonal lines on the screen. Do I need to make any modifications,?Thank you

Yes, this is one reason i didn't start to merge. This is known to me. I think the stride alignment is still wrong on the OSD Plane.
