Deploy to GitHub Pages

This project is configured to deploy to GitHub Pages at:

https://Pippinuk.github.io/switchcraft

Option 1: Automatic deployment with GitHub Actions

  1. Push these changes to your GitHub repository.
  2. Go to Settings → Pages in your repo.
  3. Under Build and deployment → Source, select GitHub Actions (not Deploy from a branch).
  4. The included .github/workflows/deploy.yml will build and deploy the site on every push to main.

Option 2: Manual deployment from your machine

  1. Install dependencies:
    npm install
  2. Build the project:
    npm run build
  3. Deploy the dist folder:
    npm run deploy

The Pages URL redirects to the configured custom domain, https://nettools.pjl.org.uk/. The site uses HashRouter, so the VOSS route is https://nettools.pjl.org.uk/#/voss.

I want to use a custom domain - is that possible?

We don't support custom domains (yet). If you want to deploy your project under your own domain then we recommend using Netlify. Visit our docs for more details: Custom domains
