ADR 23 says a sourced Subject becomes queryable once it is materialised in the graph, and the Source contract states that materialisation is the only query gate. But every projection surface (GraphDatabasePlugin, PageProjector, the rebuild machinery) is Page-scoped: a Source has no path to materialise anything, so today the gate cannot be passed by anything but a local page.
This blocks the queryability half of the first real Sources (on-wiki SMW/Wikibase store, farm sibling — planning doc sequencing step 3). Design question to settle before building one: a Source-scoped projection entry point, synthesized page nodes, or leaving materialisation to the Source's own extension writing to the graph store directly (which then has to survive rebuilds, which only visit pages).
