Our current policy is to cancel users (suspending service until they reactivate and confirm their email address) if emails to them are bouncing. This is a bit heavy-handed if they're actively using our services (e.g. managing group account handovers) and perhaps don't realise their email address is wrong.
We already have a
contactablefield in place on members which can be used to track unreachable users (manually set by sysadmins), and which is cleared on reactivation / email change. This PR adds a banner in the control panel to tell users they're in this state, and which will follow them around the member and group account pages:
