Hi there, not sure if this is technically a bug or more of a request/suggestion for additional compatibility.
I'm working with ETF and EMF, as well as a couple other OptiFine feature replacement mods, in a world with a fair amount of custom biomes that are defined by datapacks. I wanted to have some random entity textures that only show up in certain biomes, and was able to use vanilla biomes, but not the custom ones, no matter how they were namespaced in the resource pack properties file. I was able to get custom biomes working with Skyboxify (which I recognize is another mod with different maintainers, but I'm pulling my info on it from the same OptiDocs sources as I use for ETF), but the same syntax isn't working here. I've tried with multiple different mobs and different combinations of properties, it does seem like they never recognize the custom biomes no matter what.
I see that the documentation's wording is that "modded" biomes are supported, and these technically aren't modded. Is this an oversight which may be fixed/given support in the future, or is there a particular reason why this functionality doesn't exist? Any input appreciated!
This is on Minecraft 26.2, running ETF 7.1.1 and EMF 3.2.6 on Fabric 0.19.3. First noticed in a pack with other mods (mostly utility and QoL tools like Axiom/Sodium), but the issue does persist with only ETF.
