Introduction

This repository holds configurations for my desktop, code editors, etc. My configurations are not very clearly documented, so have fun trying to use it :)

Neovim Configuration

Prerequisites:

• The latest release of Neovim. (v.0.12.0)
• The GUI Neovim client Neovide. (Optional)
• Git and LazyGit.
• RipGrep for file searching.
• For editing C/C++ files, ccls, or clangd.
• CMake syntax highlighting via cmake-language-server

If you are using Neovide, there might be issues when running Neovide with the plugin noice.nvim. If you do encounter this, run Neovide with --no-startup-message-capture.

If you are on Windows, copy the nvim directory into C:\\Users\\<your user name here>\\AppData\\Local. MacOS and Linux are not officially supported because I am not using them at the moment.

Desktop Theme Configuration

These themes are for Windows only, if I ever do start customizing my desktop on other operating systems, there will be a separate directory for that.

Prerequisites:

• Rainmeter for adding custom themes and widgets.
• Windhawk for customizing the taskbar.

1. Copy the Rainmeter skin into your Rainmeter skin directory (typically in C:\\Users\\<your user name here>\\Documents\\Rainmeter\Skins)

2. Install the Windows 11 Taskbar Styler mod and the Taskbar auto-hide when minimized mod on Windhawk.

3. Copy and paste the text in the Additional Styles.txt file into the text box under Advanced > Mod Settings
