Online Book Store

The Online Book Store is a backend application developed in Java using the Spring framework. It provides a RESTful API for managing books, categories, shopping carts, and orders in an online bookstore. This application supports CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations, advanced book search by defined criteria, and role-based functionality for users and administrators.

Authentication controller

Category controller

Configuration and launch

To set up and run the project, please do the following:

1. Install Docker and run.
2. Download or clone the project from GitHub repository.

git clone https://github.com/Oleksii-Melashchenko/Shop
cd Shop

3. Set the necessary settings in .env file. You can use .env.example file as a hint.
4. Build the project by command mvn clean install.
5. Run the command docker-compose up --build to build and launch containers.
6. Access the Swagger UI at http://localhost:8088/api/swagger-ui/index.html and test the application any way you want!
