Classic theme removal doesn't update colors

Let's make sure issue is not already fixed in latest builds first.

• I verified I can reproduce this issue against latest Integration Build of Eclipse SDK

Steps to reproduce

From a fresh installation and clean workspace:

• <...setup environment>

I tried

• <... trigger issue>

I expected: <what was the expected outcome?>

But got: <what is the actual undesired behavior?>

Here is some relevant log output

From <workspace>/.metadata/.log

Tested under this environment:

• OS & version: ...
• Eclipse IDE/Platform version (as shown in Help > About): ...
• ...Anything else that can be useful...

Community

directly after upgrading from 4.39 to 4.40 the editor tabs showed un-colored.
Settings menu seems totally changed: can not specify as before.
Managed to color inactive labels, active refuses to show and color I enter (yellow or red).
Very hard to work this way.

I guess you used "Classic" theme before? Please change you theme to "Light". Classic one was removed.

It appears that the installing of 4.40 already has reset the theme to LIGHT (!)

I don't understand what happened. I only tried to set the colors to red, nothing more.

I'm beginning to understand how it (now) works, comparing with older versions;
Remains:

• the selected yellow color for the active tab appears everywhere, EXCEPT on the editors, where it was meant to be,
• all kinds of extra lining appears, even when not selected.
• I guess this is a bug, that will be repaired in 4.41

@vogella : could it be, the Classic theme removal didn't touched colors set by the theme?
Can you please follow up on the proper "Classic" theme cleanup?
