Summary

  • add SilentSuite as a private alternative in the Calendar category
  • add SilentSuite as a private alternative in the Contacts category
  • add a catalog-compliant SilentSuite logo

SilentSuite is an open-source, end-to-end encrypted synchronization service for calendars, contacts, and tasks. It supports hosted and self-hosted deployment, with web and Android clients and CalDAV/CardDAV interoperability through its local Bridge.

Unlike a standalone calendar or contacts client, SilentSuite provides the encrypted synchronization service behind those clients. Record contents are encrypted on trusted devices before upload, and the sync server does not receive the keys required to decrypt them.

Verification

  • npm run catalog:validate
  • npm run typecheck
  • npm run lint
  • npm run build
  • Playwright: 12 tests passed
  • verified the SilentSuite entry and logo render in both Calendar and Contacts
