I’m Luis Felipe Sousa, a Software Engineer and Web Chapter Lead from Fortaleza, Brazil.

I’ve been building software since 2012, with a strong focus on the web ecosystem (everything from simple websites to large-scale applications, SDKs, developer tooling, APIs, and distributed services).

For almost five years I lived and worked in Chile, where I had the opportunity to contribute as a Software Engineer and Tech Lead on products used by millions of users at companies such as Itaú Chile, Cornershop, and Uber LATAM.

Today I’m a Web Chapter Lead at Bemobi Wave, where I combine hands-on engineering with technical leadership. My work involves designing frontend architecture, improving engineering practices, mentoring developers, leading technical initiatives, and helping teams deliver high-quality products.

Outside work, I’m passionate about software craftsmanship. I enjoy writing technical articles, speaking at meetups and conferences, contributing to open source, and experimenting with new technologies.

While frontend is my main area of expertise, I enjoy working across the entire stack, from backend services and databases to deployment and monitoring, especially when building personal products from scratch.
