When users log in to your Harness instance for the first time, and they use SAML SSO authentication, Harness automatically provisions any users that have the matching **JIT Validation Key** and **JIT Validation Value** in the SAML assertion.

If you don't specify a **JIT Validation Key** and **JIT Validation Value**, Harness uses JIT provisioning to provision *all* new users logging in through SAML.

## Validation of SSO for JIT
1. The first login must come from the configured SAML provider:
- (e.g. If it is Identity Platform Initiated SSO, the user must go through the Harness SSO app).
- For Azure JIT:
- You will need to access it via "My Apps" (https://myapplications.microsoft.com/)
- For Google JIT:
- Access the Google Workspace dashboard first: https://workspace.google.com/dashboard
- Select the icon that matches the your Company/Organization's Google Workspace configured for Harness SAML access.
- For Okta JIT:
- Access with the following vanity URL: `https://YOUR_COMPANY_OKTA_URL/app/UserHome`
2. After that first successful login, the new user can login to the url (https://app.harness.io/auth/#/sso)
