Spec:
rapp-registry/1.0— the canonical agent registry + minting authority (peer to RAPP_Store/RAPP_Sense_Store).
The open single-file agent ecosystem. Browse, build, collect, and share AI agents. Every agent is one .py file.
1,798 notarized agents. 12 publishers. 24 categories. Every card has a seed.
RAPP + X™ is the headless collaboration pattern behind the ecosystem:
X may be a person, AI, twin, rapplication, Brainstem, or neighborhood peer.
Everyone uses the same /chat-shaped capability contract; UI is always an
optional client, never a requirement.
See TRADEMARKS.md for the mark definition, correct ™
usage, public first-use evidence, and legal-registration handoff.

Need a bundled rapplication (agent + UI / service / state) rather than a single file? Browse kody-w/RAPP_Store — the catalog of packaged rapplications. Per Constitution Article XXVII: bare agents live here in RAR; bundles live in the rapp store.
RAR follows the same plugin-marketplace path used by Microsoft Power CAT Skills:
| Plugin identity | Purpose |
|---|---|
rapp@brainstem |
Install and verify Brainstem, then install RAR |
rapp@rar |
Operate RAR, skills, exports, and callback bootstrap |
copilot plugin marketplace add kody-w/RAR
copilot plugin install rapp@rarClaude Code:
claude plugin marketplace add kody-w/RAR
claude plugin install rapp@rarFrom an interactive Copilot CLI session:
/plugin marketplace add kody-w/RAR
/plugin install rapp@rar
Or ask Microsoft Scout:
Add the kody-w/RAR plugin marketplace and install rapp@rar.
Then start or install my local Brainstem and show me the available RAR channels.
The unified rapp plugin installs the reversible rapp-skills manager. It can
start an existing Brainstem, perform an explicitly authorized fresh Brainstem
install, hotload RAR skill channels, bootstrap the optional external-AI
collaboration callback, and generate manual HTML loading guides for Scout,
Copilot Studio, and Microsoft Copilot Cowork.
Start a new Scout or Copilot CLI conversation after plugin installation so the new skill is discovered.
# Get the SDK
curl -O https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kody-w/RAR/main/rapp_sdk.py
# Write your agent
python rapp_sdk.py new @yourname/my_cool_agent
# Submit
python rapp_sdk.py submit agents/@yourname/my_cool_agent.pyThat's it. The SDK creates a versioned GitHub Issue command. RAR records the
authenticated GitHub identity, stages the exact source hash, and binds approval
to that immutable revision. Hashes use sha256-lf-v1: UTF-8 with CRLF replaced
by LF and no other normalization. Successful checks produce a receipt committed to
main; the forge then mints the card.
Update an agent: bump the version in __manifest__ and submit again.
RAPP is npm for AI agents — but local-first, single-file, and offline-capable. No node_modules. No build step. No server.
The nine main UI pages (index, distros, skills, install, front, store,
discover, metrics, and submit) share nav.js and nav.css. Add primary
destinations in nav.js and keep each page's plain <noscript> links in sync.
The shared bar contains the brand, seven primary links, a native More dropdown
for legacy links and controls, and the existing cart where available. Legacy
header rows stay hidden with their script-referenced IDs intact; live controls
move into More and the store tab bar stays as the secondary row. No fetch or
build step is needed, including when opening a page from file://. The dropdown
and plain fallback links also work without JavaScript.
- Every agent is one
.pyfile — the file IS the package, the manifest, and the documentation - Every card has a seed — a 64-bit number that reconstructs the full card offline, anywhere
- Every seed has an incantation — 7 words that summon the card:
TWIST MOLD BEQUEST VALOR LEFT ORBIT RUNE git clone= you have everything — works fromfile://, no internet required
Read The Ode for why single-file agents are the only pattern that scales to all of humanity.
RAR also publishes hash-addressed data-only DOGGs for compatible renderers.
The first channel is doggs/holograms/: procedural 3D
characters and live data projections for RAPP Zoo.
The records are caught reusable bottles: stable dimensions and projection
memory receive fresh per-run data_slosh. The records contain no HTML, JavaScript, shaders, or remote assets. RAPP Zoo
downloads a small JSON record, verifies its SHA-256 from the index, validates a
closed schema, and then renders it with its own sandboxed Three.js runtime.
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kody-w/RAR/main/doggs/holograms/index.json
This keeps the DOGG principle intact: RAR distributes capability-shaping data; the receiving application owns and constrains execution.
The store (index.html) is a single HTML file. Open it in any browser.
- Browse — search 1,798 agents across 24 categories, filter by tier, sort by votes
- Cards — every agent is a collectible card with types, stats, abilities, and art
- Decks — collect agents into named decks, present as slideshows
- Workbench — write agents in the browser, validate, preview as card
- Submit — publish through the UI or the SDK
Portable skills are cataloged separately from executable agent .py files.
skills.html reads the committed
api/v1/skills.json snapshot and never calls the GitHub
API on page load.
- Reviewed skills point to a full source commit and hash every file.
- Existing Scout projections identify their source agent or rapplication explicitly; they do not create duplicate agent registry entries.
artifact_typeandprotocol_conformanceare separate. Catalog admission does not claim runtime, authenticated, quality-tier, or RAPP/1 compliance.- New and updated records use the versioned GitHub Issue front door documented
in
skill.md.
Trusted clones include a checksum-pinned, source-preserving local workspace bootstrap:
python3 .rapp/bootstrap.py audit --allow-network
python3 .rapp/bootstrap.py bootstrap --apply \
--owner YOUR-LOWERCASE-OWNER --world-id YOUR-LOCAL-WORLD --allow-network
python3 .rapp/bootstrap.py verify --allow-networkThe public control files are .rapp/bootstrap.py, .rapp/bootstrap.json,
.rapp/bootstrap-managed.json, and
.github/skills/rapp-workspace-bootstrap/SKILL.md. Private cache, workspace,
identity, and reports remain under ignored .rapp/ directories. The bootstrap
does not move application source, install a global runtime, or assert RAPP/1 or
production conformance.

Cards have HP, ATK/DEF/SPD/INT stats, 1-3 abilities with cost and damage, weakness/resistance, retreat cost, and evolution stage (Seed → Base → Evolved → Legendary).
Every card has a 64-bit seed forged from the agent's manifest. The seed IS the card's DNA.
manifest → forge_seed() → resolve_card_from_seed() = the card
Three ways to resolve a card:
- From file:
python rapp_sdk.py card mint agent.py - From name:
python rapp_sdk.py card resolve @kody-w/deal_desk_agent - From seed:
python rapp_sdk.py card resolve 3736335358696106227 - From incantation:
python rapp_sdk.py card resolve TWIST MOLD BEQUEST VALOR LEFT ORBIT RUNE
All four produce the same card. Lossless. Offline. Permanent.
RAR is consumable as a static, read-only API. Every endpoint is a plain JSON file on a CDN — no server, no key, no rate limit, CORS open to everyone. This is how host applications embed the registry without sending anyone to GitHub.
Start at manifest.json; it names every other endpoint, so one URL is the only thing worth hardcoding.
| Endpoint | What it is for |
|---|---|
manifest.json |

# The curated enterprise catalog, ready to render
curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kody-w/RAR/main/api/v1/audience/business.json
# Installing an agent is one request — the response body is the whole package
curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kody-w/RAR/main/agents/@rapp/drift_agent.pydiscover.html is this API with a face on it: search, recommend and copy an install command without a GitHub account. It is the reference implementation for embedding RAR elsewhere.
Those agent URLs are permanent. See
Article XXIII — a
published agent path is a public contract and is never renamed, moved or
deleted. scripts/check_url_stability.py enforces it in CI on every push.
For how RAR answers specific enterprise-adoption requirements — consumption, trust, curation, integration, economics — see docs/FIELD-REQUIREMENTS.md, which states what is solved, what is partly solved, and what is deliberately not claimed.
Read api.json — the machine-readable API manifest. Create, read, update, delete, restore, and inspect requests through the same GitHub Issues surface used by humans. No UI or human proxy is required.
Read skill.md — the full skill interface for autonomous agent operations.
