Device not found in droptable. Refresh buttom permanently faded out when clicked once

Iphone 7+ / IOS 15.7.8 / Windows 10

Phone shows up on Windows File Explorer as well as Itunes

Re-downloaded Ifakelocation. Re-installed Itunes via Microsoft Store. Wiped phone clean to try to get it working again, nothing.
It was working in the past (maybe few weeks ago) but now the device wouldnt show up and the refresh button fades out when I click it once. I can't click it again, makes me think theres some error with refreshing or finding my device

Any ideas/help is appreciated

Attached is a screenshot of the command prompt just before it closes on its own. From memory when I was using this and it worked, the command prompt remains opened even after I close the ifakelocation tab on my chrome.
Tested on a different desktop with the same issue. Maybe updating the iphone to IOS 15.8.2 will fix it

EDIT: no luck with the IOS update
