Delay in connecting to a service proxied by Netbird

I run a self hosted instance. I'm using the proxy service to connect to several services in my homelab. This works great and with the latest version, I can also disable external access if needed.
However, on my Android phone with the latest version of the app I experience long delays before connecting to a service via the proxy. In the end it seems to work OK, but it takes at least half a minute or so. Directly connecting to the IP address of the service does not give these delays.

I am also having this issue. For me, it takes a few minutes to load. I am using the private proxy feature. Interestingly, this issue does not happen on windows or linux devices as far as i can tell. I have forced relay turned off if that matters in this case. All other settings are default. I Have tried rebooting, turning netbird off/on and changing various settings in the netbird proxy settings for one of the services. I am also self hosted.

I forgot to mention that the Linux client does not have this issue. The Android is actually several version behind this though, so maybe that is the problem.

Exact same for me. The new version seems to have fixed it, but it hasn't been published on the Play Store yet.

I wish they would hurry up releasing the new version. I don't want to side load a release candidate.
By the way. I also run a cloud version with a proxy cluster and I don't experience the delay when contacting services through this cluster. It seems the combination of self hosting with the old app causes the problem.

I've given in and decided to install the RC5. Connecting to my proxied services works now. Also, the ability to switch between Netbird instances is really nice. Hopefully, we'll see an official release soon.
