A 3D office in your browser where you hire Factory Droid workers, walk over to their desks and step into their live terminals.
Five agents in five terminals is a mess. You lose track of who is stuck, who finished and who is waiting on you.
Droid Office turns that into a place. Every agent sits at a desk with a laptop showing its real terminal. A worker that needs you jumps up and dings. A worker that is done does a little spin and throws confetti. You see the whole picture from across the room.
- A desk for every agent. Walk up, press E, pick a model, and a Droid worker sits down. Its live terminal opens on the laptop in front of it.
- One terminal, every window. Open the same live session in a second browser tab; it keeps streaming in each, with full scrollback.
- A floor per project. Ride the elevator, pick one of the git projects you already have, and the office opens a new floor in it, right where it is. Nothing is cloned. Each floor has its own desks, boards and workers.
- Boards you can touch. Issues and pull requests hang on the wall. Take a card off the board, carry it across the room, and hand it to a worker.
- CI on the wall. The Pipelines board shows your GitHub Actions runs (or GitLab pipelines) as they run, wait and finish. Open a run to see its jobs and steps, re-run what failed, or kick off a workflow. Or just tell the Pipeline agent beside it to do it. Turn on Auto-heal on a floor and a red run on that floor wakes the Pipeline agent, which finds the root cause and hires a worker to push the fix.
- A Whiteboard you share with your workers. Workers put live HTML pages, screenshots and forms on the wall. You open them in the window or full screen, use them, and mark them up with comments, sticky notes and pictures, and the next time a worker reads the board it sees what you changed.
- A place worth being in. A rooftop over the city, a jukebox, and weather outside the windows that follows a real city if you ask.
This started as a fork of agent-office and went its own way. It's built for teams that live in Factory.
Every worker is a Droid session. Hire a worker on any model you've configured — including your custom models — at the reasoning effort you choose. The office remembers your pick per desk and keeps it with the worker across restarts. It shows you when a Droid worker is working, waiting on you or done.
A floor can be a GitLab project, on gitlab.com or your own host. Merge requests fill the PR board, workers open them with glab, and every prompt the office sends speaks GitLab.
Connect Jira Cloud once with a read-only token, give a floor an epic, and its tickets appear as a Jira tab on the board. Hand any ticket to a worker with one click. The office never writes to Jira.
A dark, industrial look in Factory orange. The Mac app opens your office full screen and keeps itself up to date.
Every new feature that ships in the original project is brought over, adapted to this fork and its Droid and GitLab work. The latest additions: rewrite every prompt the office sends, set a default worker, edit and filter issues by label on the boards, keep workers running through upgrades, send workers home when their PR merges, and browse your project's docs at the office bookshelf.
The Mac app release is the only supported production install. It needs macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later on a Mac with an Apple M-series Pro, Max or Ultra chip, ideally with a 120 Hz ProMotion display. Intel Macs and base M chips (plain M1 to M5) aren't supported: the app tells you so and quits.
Download Droid-Office-<version>-arm64.dmg from the latest release, open it and drag Droid Office into Applications. It starts the office itself, opens it full screen and keeps itself up to date. Node.js isn't needed.
You need git and the Droid CLI (droid) signed in. For the boards, sign in to gh for GitHub or glab for GitLab. See the Mac app.
There are no supported command-line installers or standalone server releases.
Clone the repository to run, modify or experiment with the source. You need Node.js 20+ and the tools above.
git clone https://github.com/nikships/droid-office.git
cd droid-office
npm ci
npm run devOpen http://localhost:5173. This is a developer checkout, not a production install. See Development for builds, tests and running the Mac app from source.
Droid Office for Android is a companion to your running office, not a standalone office installation. Install Droid-Office-<version>.apk from the latest release, then scan the code from ⚙️ Settings → Phone in the office. On your Wi-Fi, or from anywhere over Tailscale, you see every worker on every floor, hire new ones, watch their live terminals and prompt them. A worker that needs you or finishes buzzes your phone, and you answer it right from the notification.

Droid Office began as a fork of AgentSystemLabs/agent-office, whose authors built the office, the desks, the terminals and the boards. It's released under the same MIT license.
