Slots are precious and there are some moves that don't need to have their own slot space and can be combined into other moves making them much more useable .
These could be:
FireShots + FireBall = FireShots : Click to shoot a long ranged fireball, shift to charge multiple of them and then shoot.
EarthLine + EarthSurf = EarthShift : Shift at ground to select and then click to use earthline, click on the air for earthsurf.
EarthPillars ---> turns into RaiseEarthAddon : Click to raise blocks from the sides/roof/ground.
