Orbis Persons

WordPress plugin for Orbis that adds persons, with personal details such as birth date and gender, built on top of Orbis Contacts.

Orbis core

The orbis_person post type used to be registered by Orbis core and is now registered by this plugin (with the persons slug, orbis_contact support and the Orbis Contacts menu). The post type, taxonomy and meta keys are the same, so existing persons keep working without migration.

Templates

The plugin ships a single and an archive person template, modelled after single-orbis_person.php and archive-orbis_person.php of the Orbis 5 theme. They are used unless the theme has its own single-orbis_person.php or archive-orbis_person.php.

Other plugins can add content to the single template with the orbis_before_main_content, orbis_after_main_content, orbis_before_side_content and orbis_after_side_content actions, for example the connected organizations of Orbis Organizations.
