What

Follow-up to #2. Closes the loose ends from the prospectus review that did not land in that merge.

  • The Opportunity Grant add-on footnote and the "apply for a grant" line in How We Use The Funds now link to the grants page.
  • The grants page says grants are funded by the budget and by Opportunity Grant sponsors, and links to the add-ons table.
  • The real 2027 grant application form URL replaces the forms.gle/PLACEHOLDER in the commented-out Apply button, with a comment saying it is the real link waiting on the 01/01/2027 open date. The button stays commented until then.
  • Removes the ///Footnotes Go Here/// drafting marker from the public prospectus source (pymdownx swallowed it, so it never rendered).
  • CLAUDE.md lists the grant button under Navigation Phasing so it gets uncommented in January.

Checks

just validate passes. just link-check shows only the pre-existing Google Maps 403s that pass in CI.

Not in this PR

  • Swag bag size limit (waiting on a bag choice).
  • 2027 demographics (waiting on the post-conference survey).

The prospectus went public with the #2 merge, and it sells an
Opportunity Grant add-on, but neither the add-on footnote nor the
"apply for a grant" line in How We Use The Funds pointed a reader at
the grants page. The grants page in turn said grants come "directly
from the PyTexas budget", which stopped being the whole story once
sponsors could fund them. Both pages now link to the other.

The grant application form exists now (the forms.gle link resolves to
"Opportunity Grant Application"), so the placeholder URL in the
commented-out Apply button is replaced with the real one. The button
stays commented on purpose: the page says applications open
01/01/2027, and a comment above it now says it is the real 2027 link
waiting on that date, so nobody mistakes it for a placeholder. The button
class also changes to `.md-button .pytx-button--primary`, matching
the live buttons on the sponsor and speaking pages rather than the
placeholder's `.pytx-button` form.

The `///Footnotes Go Here///` marker left over from drafting the
prospectus inside an HTML comment is removed. pymdownx swallows `///`
lines, so it never rendered, which is why it survived two merges.

Not changed: footnote 4 has no swag bag size limit yet (waiting on a
bag choice), and the demographics are still 2026 data.
