Description

  • Adds a file_type property to the "User called MCP tool create_artifact" client event: the lowercase extension of file_path (pdf, html, ...), or json for a structured artifact. A call without a file sends no property.
  • The event fires when the call arrives, before the tool runs, so it counts calls, not successful creations. Other tools send the event without properties, as before.
  • No backend change. CreateClientEvent already accepts a properties map.

Verification

  • cargo test -p sift_mcp: 569 passed, including new tests for the file type rules and the request body.
  • cargo clippy -p sift_mcp --all-targets --all-features: no new warnings.
