Announcement post for the Enterprise Edition launching with v1.40: what stays the same (open source, BSD-3, same image, no feature moves), what EE adds and what it funds in the Community Edition, how the license key works, and our commitments. Hold until the v1.40 release — the post date is a placeholder (rename the folder to the release date). Remaining TODOs marked in the file: leadership sign-off on the CE-benefits and commitments lists, CE-baseline sentence confirmation with core, and the legal page / licensing FAQ links once those pages exist.
