Hi there hello!

🏢 I'm a software engineer at Meta, working on high-performance collective communication for the next generation of Meta's custom AI silicon (MTIA).

Before this, I worked on core WhatsApp Calling infra, including large-scale distributed systems, the Erlang programming language/BEAM virtual machine, and networking. I also helped spin up a lot of the infra for WhatsApp's new Events 2.0 product!

🏫 I graduated from the University of Washington as a CS major + math minor

💡 My main interests are in compilers, distributed systems, deep learning, football (🏈 Go Hawks), and piano

🔬 Active research and projects:

• Distributed computing engines
• AI training/inference frameworks
• and other fun stuff: esoteric programming languages, cool simulations, terrible games, and more

🔭 Past research:

• Datacenter power consumption and energy efficiency
• Satellite navigation (star tracking)
