XmlSerializer built with XmlAttributeOverrides is not cached by .NET. Every profile load (TryPrepare) and save (SaveProfileNew) built a new one, which generated and loaded a new dynamic assembly (~100 ms with its first use) that never unloads. Temporary profile switches pay this on every press and every release. Share one lazily built, thread-safe instance (ProfileDTO.Serializer). Warm TryPrepare: ~101 ms -> ~0.9 ms; loaded assemblies +1 per call -> +0. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Merges upstream PRs #129, #130, #131, #132, and #134, retaining upstream history and this fork's update sources, UI fixes, Lang layout, donation removal and concise README.
New releases use tag/package/informational version 5.0.14 and Windows app/MSI/bundle version 5.0.14.0. The installer is
DS4Windows_5.0.14.0_Setup_x64.exe; the portable ZIP isDS4Windows_5.0.14_x64.zip. The maintainer explicitly approved unsigned numeric Latest releases while trusted signing is investigated. Draft builds retain exact-source, receipt, dependency and hash checks; publication verifies the tested bytes and selects Latest with prerelease=false. Schema 1 remains compatible with DS4Updater 2.0.9; historical RC publication remains verifiable.Changes and upgrade notes are in CHANGELOG.md; release instructions are in docs/release-process.md.
Validation: GitHub Windows CI passed on the final PR head: 7,214 tests passed, 12 skipped, zero failures, plus 17 executed release identity cases. Localization packaging, translated resource probes, installer composition, offline layout, install/repair/uninstall, and upgrade/profile-preservation checks all passed. DS4Updater compatibility suite: 150 passed. CI build and test packages.
Merged into main; 5.0.14 has not yet been published.
